Dog Days Are Oh-vuh-er!

I had no sublimal message for putting that song as the post's title. It's just that I'm listening to the radio and that's the song that just started playing. And I have a really hard time thinking of other songs while I'm already listening to one. Hm. Anyway.

Today was "IB Day" at the high school I will be attending next year! (The one I'm going to for the first 2 periods this year...) I got to skip the most horribly dull classes of my day (math - where we learn nothing, French - which moves so dang slowly, and science - where my teacher SUCKS with a capital SUCKS) to watch IB classes...in action! *cue the applause*

I got to visit IB Chemistry (what the heck is "titrating vinegar?" Anybody know??), Pre-IB World History (where I saw my friend! Yay!), and IB Visual Arts. That was pretty cool, even though I know I am incapable of ever creating anything that artistically accomplished. I'm a music person. Concertos are my thing.

Speaking of which, tomorrow I will be FINISHED FOREVER with Accolay! And that lazy pianist. But next time I get to play the de Beriot concerto (no. 9, if any of y'all want to look it up on Youtube or something) AND a Mozart concerto (number 3, for all of you youtubing types)! Is it catastrophic that, as a musician, I legitly DON'T. LIKE. MOZART?!?!?! It seems horrible, but I just don't! I've played several different things by him, and he's just not that awesome! What's all the hype about? If you know a really cool Mozart piece that actually supports his reputation, by all means, send me a link.

Peace out! And wish me luck for my solo tomorrow *crosses fingers*

Been Far Away For Far Too Long...

Today I came from school and, as usual, I wanted my snack. But instead of grabbing the brownies in the container on the counter (resistance was hard, don't get me wrong! Those brownies were all like, "Maaaaaryyyyyy," but I was like "NO! I won't cave before at least 4:30!"), I decided to reach into my backpack and get the bag of goldfish I stuck in a few weeks ago to eat during my TA time.

So anyway, here I am, in front of my computer, eating those goldfish. AND THEY TASTE FUNNY. Not Dan-Bergstein-esque, HAHAHAHAROFLOL funny. I mean like, oddly citrusy-tasting funny.

I've never tasted weird goldfish before. Ever! I always thought goldfish were one of those foods that never ever ever went bad, or stale, or even slightly different. You know, like celery. And Chex Mix.

And now I'm wondering if I should quit eating these wacky goldfish. Maybe they're super bad for me or something. What if I get a food-borne illness?! (Sorry for the unusual terminology, but "Disease Detectives" was one of my Science Olympiad events, and food-borne illnesses were the focus of this year's competition.)

Oh man, that would suck. I wonder how many people have died from incidents related to goldfish consumption???

Hmm. E-cookies and eternal love to anyone who gets me that statistic. ;)

That's it for now!

It's Not Over, I'll Try To Do It Right This Time Around

Hey there!

IT'S BEEN FOREVER, HASN'T IT?! Well, Not So Cheesy is BACK! I hit a kind of low point a few weeks ago (kind of? Okay, a really low point), and I felt like quitting my blog. I mean, what was the point? It seemed like all I ever did was talk about how much the kid sitting next to me swore that day, posted pictures of absolutely revolting French projects, and...whatever else it is I did.

But then I remembered the reason I started it in the first place. I was never very committed to anything, I was easily unmovitvated after the first few weeks of starting things, and I wanted something that I could look back on and say, "I STUCK with this."

So you know what?

I'M BAAAAAAAACK!!!!!
